Twin brothers named in polo team

Twins Jacob and Daniel Loe, of Blenheim, were named last night in the South Island polo team to play an England selection in Christchurch on Sunday (January 15).

The other team members are Dean Geddes, of Tai Tapu (captain), and Andrew Gould, of Rotherham.

The final composition of the England team to play the match at the polo grounds off Wigram Road at 3pm is not yet known.

The selectors have also named the South Island Under-19 team to play the curtainraiser against a Presidents side. They are Drew Harris, of Tuahiwi, Ben Finney, of Amberley, Guy Higginson, of Omihi, and Charlie Wood, of Sefton.
